Ilina Bhaya-Grossman

I was born and raised in the Bay Area. Growing up biracial, I often felt disconnected from the Asian American community. Through this project, I look forward to engaging with talented local artists who have shared my experiences. I am pursuing my PhD at UCSF and studying how our brain processes language.

I grew up in sunny Southern California and moved to the Bay in high school. Currently, I am a PhD student at UC Berkeley working on computer vision and deep learning. I'm excited by the prospect of bringing together people from different parts of my life to explore the arts together.
